About Kamiyama Gakuin:
Since being established in 2010, Kamiyama Gakuin has taught Japanese to over 300 international students. We are a small, intimate and friendly school where all students receive personal attention, and we run a number of classes simultaneously to cater for different skill levels.
Our main goal is to bring our students' Japanese skill up to the level at which they can successfully apply to higher education institutions in Japan. Indeed many of our students go on to pursue their academic ambitions after graduating here, and we endeavor to help any student with a clear goal reach it.
We care strongly about our student's welfare - Kamiyama Gakuin is affiliated with local dormitories which can take care of our students throughout their stay, enabling them to focus on their studies.
Kamiyama Gakuin is located in the heart of Nagoya, Japan's fourth most populous city. Nagoya is compact and easy to navigate, but has a strong international focus and no shortage of things to do and see - Nagoya has a wide range of parks, gardens and museums, to malls, restaurants and bars, and there are many attractions in the surrounding area.
Kamiyama Gakuin is located in Nagoya's main downtown district, Sakae, providing an exciting city atmosphere for our students to enjoy. Also on our doorstep is the Hisaya Odori Park, a slice of nature amongst towering buildings where festivals and other events regularly take place. In addition, Nagoya is ideally situated in the center of Japan, with convenient access to the rest of the country.
